Yay!!! Daddy is home after 70 or so days in Afghanistan! We are so happy and thankful to God for his safe return. We missed him very much and are so happy to be spending time with him again. Of course these aren't in order I usually can shuffle them around but today I gave up. I wish blogger would fix whatever is wrong with the upload!!

The planes are extremely loud so we have to put in ear plugs. Mayson was cool with them and Trey didn't seem to mind either.

Sooooo far behind

I'm so far behind on the blog!!! Sam got back from Afghanistan on the 7th of July. We spent several days in Savannah, came home for 2 days and headed up to Michigan. We are still in Michigan and leaving tomorrow so hopefully I will be able to post some pictures and stuff soon.

Playdate w/ friends

We got together with the kids (minus Holly b/c she is just shy of 40 weeks pregnant & very tired) for one last visit before we head back to Atlanta. We were trying to get a picture of the kids on Melly's back and never really got a good one, even w/ YaYa assisting. Below is the best one, below that is a collage of other attempts, it was quiet humorous.

Not always peachy

One of my best friends Jaime said something the other day. She wondered if the lives of people on blogs were really as happy as they seem. I think most people just post the fun and happy times. Like my post below, the science museum was great, however just after that we went to lunch at Red Robin, not so great. Mayson was awful, she was tired and I should have never agreed to go to a sit down resturant, the service was slow. Trey was fussy. Needless to say I ended up leaving w/ both kids before my food came and just had them bring it home. I think also, when you are in those situations, you don't want to take a picture to remember it. I do think about videoing some of it and making Sam watch it later since he misses out on some "good times." Like last night I should have grabbed the camera when Mayson pooped in the tub with Trey in there as well....but that would have been gross!

On our way from Atlanta to Tuscaloosa we stopped by for a quick visit with Melly. Mayson loved KayTee, however she insisted on calling her Bailey which is my brother's dog's name
