Attempt at a family photo

We were trying to take a picture of the four of us. We haven't gotten one yet. Not that this would have been great anyway since I had no makeup on and hadn't washed my hair yet that day. But we thought we would make an attempt. It was quite humorous to us since in almost every picture someone was cut out. Sam's parents are coming into town this weekend so maybe we can get them to take a picture for us with everyone's head. :)

Much needed outside time

One day this week was fairly nice weather so we walked down to the playground. I'm getting a little bit of cabin fever not being able to take Trey out much. It was nice to get some fresh air and let Mayson get rid of some energy.

Mayson has now learned to climb this by herself. I'm not so thrilled about it

Two weeks old

Trey was two weeks old on Thursday. It's hard to believe it's only been two weeks. I think we are all getting adjusted to our bigger family. Mayson is doing very well. She has been really sweet and has only had a couple total meltdowns (one in the doctor's office). She wants to hold Trey often as you will see below. We feel truly blessed to have 2 great kiddos!

Our friend Claudia's daughter Maya passed her play kitchen down to Mayson. We put it in the place of the changing table we took out of her room to put in Trey's. She absolutely loves it. Maya also gave Mayson several of her dress up outfits, her and Daddy were playing the other day. Thanks Maya!!!

Baby Trey is here!!

Trey (Samuel Joseph Smith III) was born Thursday January 8, 2009 at 1:03 am. He weighed 8 lbs 10 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. He is doing really well. He met his big sis and she was excited to see him. The pictures are not in order, for some reason they are uploading weird.

My Aunt Sharon, cousin Nicole and her daughter Anabelle came over for a visit. Mayson and Anabelle had a good time playing.

Christmas Lights

We found some pretty cool Christmas lights close to our house this year. The pictures are of a single house. It was amazing, my pictures do not do it justice. The video is another house we came across that had the lights synchronized to music. You could tune in on a FM station. Sam said he was inspired to do that next year.
