Kennesaw Mountain

A couple weekends ago we went for a hike on Kennesaw Mountain. It was a little chilly, but we had a good time. I'm looking forward to some warmer weather so we can go more.
I found a carrier for Trey at a consignment sale that I thought would be good for hiking so we were trying out. I like the picture of Trey peaking through the side also the smile on Mayson's face when she is sitting on the tree, she is truly an outdoors girl.

Muffins with Mom

Mayson's class had a "Muffins with Mom" day. We had mini muffins and the kids made us a flower bouquet out of handprints w/ sweet sayings on them. It was a special time.

Snow again!

We had another snow at the begining of March, the kids are enjoying getting to play in the snow.
my cutie patooties

We built a snowman and that night some "punk kid" (my assumption) knocked it and our neighbor's over...who does that?!? Anyway a day or so later we plopped the head back on top, it was a little sad but we were making a statement ;)
On a side note, while building the snowman I was holding Trey on one side and one of the limbs I had pulled off a bush for the arms on the other, not sure how it happened but he leaned over and jammed it into his eye. I thought I was going to die! It looked like it poked right into his eyeball. After a trip to the doctor's office to get it checked he was fine. Me it took a while to be fine, definitely a "mom of the year award" moment.

Randoms

after being couped up from the weather and sick kids, we enjoyed a day out at DAC Kids, a pirate themed playplace

Some pictures of my sweet boy. Playing in the back yard, not sure about the hands on the head picture, playing at the playground, sitting in the high chair (it makes me laugh how he always sticks his feet under the tray) and
eating one of his favorite things... pudding

We went over to Tuscaloosa the weekend Daddy had class in Februrary
Playing at LaLa's house

Trey and LaLa

Mayson helped LaLa set the table the first night we were there. On the second night she went in and got all the stuff and set it her self. She even got placemats out of the drawer. It was so cute and she was proud of her self.

We went to see a house that GrandDad built. It's a beautiful house on a lake about 45 minutes from Tuscaloosa. The kids had a ball and were amazed at how big it was. I was constantly saying don't touch the walls...etc.

Update coming soon....I hope :)

Wow it's been a while...between double ear infections (twice) for Trey, colds, croup (one week in February we were at the Pediatricians office 4 times in 7 days) work(even though it's only 2 mornings a week) preschool, gymnastics and trying to keep the house from looking like two tornadoes hit it daily, I haven't had much time...or energy to blog. I have the pictures uploaded and it is my goal to get caught up. I hope to get back to at least a weekly update or maybe every two weeks....we'll see :-)
