Hungry boy

We are starting the process of introducing food to Trey. He is such a big boy and wants to eat all the time, so the doctor suggested starting at about 3 1/2 months. He is getting better at it, just learning the new consistency and eating off a spoon takes time. He is soooo messy right now, there is no bib that could cover his clothes so for now, dining attire is a diaper. You'll see in the video you can't get the food to him fast enough. It would help tremendously if he would leave his fingers out of his mouth. Hopefully it will be easier when we are at home in the highchair instead of in a bumbo in a hotel room.

Kennesaw Mountain

We've gone to Kennesaw Mountain a couple times lately. We are lucky that we live so close to a National Park that has cool place to hike. Mayson is such an outdoors girl, she pretty much hiked the whole way to the top. We were at the top and some ladies were coming down and Mayson said "That was not easy" it was so funny. She really wasn't that tired, it was just perfect timing for her to say that.

This picture made us laugh....Mayson spilled water on her clothes and decided to strip down. Sam just thought it was funny that she covered up w/ her hands.

A new fun place

We found this cool place to go to, actually I think Angie told me about it a few months ago but we just made it there. It's an indoor playplace that is pirate themed. It has a huge wooden structure that is like the pirate ship and underneath that is tons of sand...literally. Plus it has inflatables. Another really cool thing was these air guns they had that shot little foam balls out...super cool, see video. When we got there a birthday party was leaving, then we had the whole place to ourselves and only had to pay $5 for Mayson to play Sam said "I got to do this for free!"

Easter weekend

Angie (our neighbor, friend, and also my boss) brought this bunny over for us to use, since her kids are older and Mayson always wants to go hang out in her yard to see the inflatables. Mayson was thrilled to have one in our yard.

My little bunny...I guess Daddy is a flower :) Mayson had him put it on

An Eggcellent time

We had a weekend filled with Easter Eggs hunts. The first one was in our neighborhood
Heading down to the hunt Mayson somehow wrapped her hood around her head, I thought it looked funny, and her expression added to it in this picture

Hanging out after the hunt

Next we went to the Easter Egg hunt at church, I guess it's more of a scramble instead of a hunt...either way the kids love it

Sam likes to call this "Parents gone Wild" Well they weren't really wild but the kids were out there for about 2 seconds by themselves before all the parents jumped in to "help" I admit I did jump in as well b/c Mayson was just going to sit down after she found some candy. Sam thought the pictures below were funny b/c you can barely see kids b/c there were so many parents. But with this age group I guess they need a little help.

This was Trey's extent of Easter egg hunting. He's so good he just hung out in the stroller.

Mayson's favorite part

Who needs Easter eggs when you have all these inflatables. Mayson had a blast....I thought we would never get her to leave. She gets right up in there with the big kids and climbs and slides.

Three months old!!

It's hard to believe that Trey is already 3 months old. Although in some ways it seems like he's been with us forever. I can't imagine our lives without him. He is such a good baby and we are truly blessed to have him in our lives.

Welcome Baby Claire!!

Sam's sister Christina had a baby girl last Saturday in Hillsdale Michigan. Claire Alena was born Friday April 3rd at 6:42 pm 7lb 13 oz and 20 inches long. We can't wait to meet her!

This week

We pulled out Mayson's excersaucer for Trey the other day. He liked it for a little while, I'm sure he will grow to love and enjoy it like Mayson did.

Old toys are new again, everytime we get out some of Mayson's old toys and stuff she thinks they are the neatest things. She keeps climbing in the exersaucer all cramped up.

I thought Trey looked cute in his little warm up suit

My two sweeties

Mayson likes to gather and pile stuff. I was resting for a moment and got to be the one stuff was piled on. :)

Sweet smiles

Trey now smiles and laughs a lot, I've just been trying to capture it on video. Usually when I turn the camera on he stops. There is one place he always smiles really big and that is on the changing table, both the pack and play one and the big one in his room. I'm not sure why but he always gives you a great big smile.

Trying to catch up...

Trying to catch up on the blog from the last several weeks...
Mayson thought her baby doll might comfort Trey, as you can tell it didn't work

Trey crosses his feet a lot, I think it is so cute

Well...this is one of those blackmail pictures for when Mayson is a teenager! It had been raining here for so many days and one afternoon it stopped for a little while. Mayson wanted to play on the patio. I was back and forth b/t the patio and inside where Trey was. Well when I came back to check on Mayson one time she was stripping down, so I grabbed the camera. While I'm taking pictures she decides to climb on the slide and go down. I'm saying "No don't do that" It was one of those slow motion things where I couldn't stop her. Then the screaming began when her bare butt skidded across the concrete. Needless to say I didn't get a picture of that.

one of Trey's hang outs

Mayson decided to pile all her stuff in the recliner....not sure why but she spent lots of time gathering and placing it all

Hanging out after church

We went to Lake Lanier to visit w/ Sam's Aunt and family. Mayson liked walking on the rocks by the lake and touching the water from the pier

Hopefully she will never try this by herself

Daddy and the kiddos

Mayson was helping Daddy spread some mulch around, and do a little yard work. She wanted to do everything he did, so we gave her a little shovel. I thought it was so cute when she put her shovel in the ground by Sam's.
