Where's Waldo?? and more

Where's Waldo??? I mean Trey. Trey was napping in his bouncy seat and Mayson decided to surround him with her friends. I convinced her not to cover his head.
Her big Mickey and Minnie had to be added to the pile

Mayson loves Trey so much she is always saying "I love you Trey" and "He's so cute" She wants to hold him and hug him, which he isn't always thrilled about. Teaching a 2 year old to be gentle isn't always easy.

The smirk on his face made me laugh

Full of curls

Mayson decided to unroll a roll of aluminum foil and parade it through the house.

Mayson really enjoys "cooking" now....actually she thinks putting the ingredients in is cooking.

A little smile, I haven't gotten a good picture with his full smile that shows his dimples but this was the beginning of a smile.

Haircut or torture session?

I thought we would do something fun for Mayson and take her to this cool place to get her haircut. Sam's sister Christina is a hair stylist and has cut Mayson's hair when she's seen her, which has been every few months. But since she lives in Michigan we haven't see her in a while. Mayson thought the place was cool until we tried to put her in the chair. Sam said it was like we were putting her in a dentist chair...not that she would know what that is either. Anyway she screamed like a banchee. Lots of fun for all. Near the end she wasn't crying anymore, she wasn't thrilled, but at least it didn't last long.

Visit to Tuscaloosa

LaLa and Trey

GrandDad is renting a house that has a putting green behind it. Mayson had a blast running around and picking up the golf balls

Enjoying a Milo's Hamburger on the way home....yum!

Run Daddy Run

Sam ran and finished the Mercedes Marathon on Sunday in Birmingham. I can't imagine running 26.2 miles. He doesn't really even care for running it was just something he wanted to do once in his life, (yeah he's a little crazy like that). We are proud of him for doing it. My Aunt Gayle took the pictures below since I didn't get to go. Thanks Gayle! :)

Sam and Stephanie (my cousin) who has ran the marathon several years.

Happy Valentine's Day

We spent Valentine's Day in Tuscaloosa. Sam ran the Mercedes Marathon on Sunday so we took the opportunity to visit LaLa and Granddad.

During the week Mayson made "custom" Valentines for the Grandparents. She painted, put stickers and included the picture of her and Trey above

Visit from Nana and Poppie

Nana and Poppie came to visit and meet Trey. We all had a good time and it was nice to have some extra help while Sam was out of town. We went to several parks and playgrounds and hung out around the house. Mayson loved having more people to entertain her.

Not sure about the look on her face but I thought it was too funny not to include

Mayson was happy to have warm weather so she could wear the Mickey Mouse shirt Avery sent her w/ her name on it. She is so proud of it, Thanks Avery (and Jaime)

One month old

Trey was one month old last week. We had his doctor appointment yesterday. He's gained 3 lbs and grown 1 1/2 inches. He's starting to coo and smile more. He's such a good baby....we think we'll keep him :)

Past few days...

Just a few pictures from the last week
Nana covered Mayson w/ bubbles during bath. She said "I a snowman" she was so giddy and wanted her whole body covered.

I was letting Trey have some "tummy time," he doesn't love it, he cried for a while and then I think he just decided to give up and just lay there.

Sunday afternoon we went to the park since it was 60 degrees and sunny. The pictures don't quite show how crowded it was. It looked like how an ant bed looks when you step on it, people everywhere. It just shows you how badly we need parks in this area. This one opened last spring about 5 miles from our house. It is super nice but as you can see can get crowded.

Trey and I went for a walk while Mayson played with Daddy, Nana and Poppie

The dog park just opened about a month ago. Of course this is where Mayson wanted to hang out. If you look way in the back there is a guy with a white shirt, that's Sam and Mayson is next to him in a red shirt.

Candice was intown for a friends bachlorette party and stopped by and had lunch with us. It was good to catch up.
