Monkey Joe's and more

Sam was in Minneapolis through the weekend, so I was looking for something fun to do that would wear Mayson out. We went to Monkey Joe's (indoor inflatable place) Oh wow she was in heaven. She had so much fun climbing and jumping and being her true monkey self.

Weekend in Tuscaloosa

Daddy was in Michigan this weekend for an Air Show so we went to Tuscaloosa.

I just loved this outfit, it reminds me of something I wore as a little girl

We went to the University Rec Center pool with Granddad, Mayson had a blast, she loved the baby pool with the water shooting up and being able to walk around and play.

Playing with my friends

On our way to Tuscsaloosa we stopped in Birmingham for lunch and a visit. Holly was sleeping b/c she had to work but she let us hang her house while Laura was keeping Gavin. The kiddos had fun dancing and playing.

Mayson started showing her belly and Avery followed...girls gone wild!

Goggle girl

Everytime we go to the pool Mayson would grab another kid's goggles to play with them, for some reason she thought they were cool. So we got her some at the dollar store. She was thrilled, especially when Daddy put them on too.

Daddy's Day

We had a great day Father's Day, we went to church, ate lunch then went on a bike ride around Kennesaw Mountain, then we went for a hike up the mountain, came home and cooled off with a swim. It was a fun day enjoying the beautiful weather. Happy Father's Day Sam...GrandDad...Poppie and all the other great Dads we know.

We had a BLAST Father's day...sorry I had to do it

This week

Mayson's babysitter took the week off so Mayson and Mommy had a whole week together, I tried to do something fun each day...well except for Monday she had her 18 month checkup (a few weeks late) and got a shot...that wasn't too fun. Here is a little of what we did.

Tuesday we went to Target and had her 18 month pictures taken

Wednesday she got into a sharpie

and we went to storytime

Thursday we painted and colored

Family time

We had a good weekend. Since we only see Daddy on the weekends we try to have fun Daddy time. This weekend we went on a 8 mile bike ride (which for those who ride a lot isn't much but I was proud of myself to make it that far--plus I had the extra weight of Mayson) and we did a little swimming in our little pool and the one in our neighborhood.

Mayson thought it was funny when Mommy got into her pool with her clothes on.

??? I think she was trying to feed me water with the shovel.

Best Buds

Mayson has become very fond of Rex. She calls him Bexy (his nickname is Rexy) she can say "Rs" so I'm not sure why it comes out like that. Anytime we leave she has to say bye to him, even if we are just going upstairs. She hugs and kisses him and loves to pet him. As you can see he is a very tolerant dog, especially for one that's 15 years old.
