Mayson's favorite song is "Party in the USA" by Mylie Cyrus. We dance to it a couple times a day, we even got Daddy participating. I guess Trey has learned the words and dance moves because he started joining in today. For those who don't know the song the chorus says "So I put my hands up...." Mayson normally dances and sings but today she was doing some crazy spin move. Trey was too funny for me to not post it.

Babyland General
Since we were in North Georgia at the pumpkin patch we decided to drive about 40 minutes to Babyland General "Where Cabbage Patch Kids are born" I've thought of taking Mayson before but I had seen pictures of my Aunt and cousin going w/ her daughter so it reminded me. Since we were pretty close we headed over. Mayson was excited...but I have to admit I think I was more excited than her. I was like a little kid. We all had fun...well I guess you would have to ask Sam if he had fun or not.
Pumpkin Patch
Saturday we took a trip to Burt's Farm, a pumpkin patch in North Georgia. We went there 2 years ago with Mayson. They have HUGE pumpkins, I saw one that was $100!!! We planned on going on the hayride that takes you on a scenic view of the forest and Amicalola falls but it was just too cold. Plus we are all getting over colds. Mayson loved exploring through the pumpkins. I mainly just saw the back of her head in her winter coat.
Picture of Mayson in 2007 and Trey 2009. Notice the difference in attire. Mayson has a tanktop on Trey two shirts and a winter hat. Got to love the unpredictable weather here.
We got one decent family picture

(**editorial note**that is Trey's foot sticking out the bottom of Sam's jacket..incase you were wondering)

Random pics and videos
Mayson's class had a teddy bear picnic on the playground one day after school. This is the only picture I got b/c it was quite warm. But it was nice to have some sunshine after all the rain we have had.
Trey is double fisting between puffs and a banana. Trey loves puffs so much we call him Puffaluffagus.
Angie gave me a feeder (Sassy teething feeder) that you can put foods in and not have to worry about them choaking b/c they eat it through the mesh part. It is pretty neat, a little messy but gives them some independence.
Mayson wanted to help vacuum...I say more power to you girl!

The Flood 2009
We received an enormous amount of rain in a short period of time here in the Atlanta area on Sept 21. Many people lost their homes and everything they had. A few even lost their lives. We were lucky and received no damage. Our subdivison has a lake that has a dam. For a little while we were concerned with the dam breaking, but thankfully it held. It did however overflow in some areas and wash out the road. Below are some pictures. If you've never seen it, it's hard to know how crazy this was but believe me it was a lot of water!
This is a heavily travelled road outside of our neighborhood. Luckily the heavy rain stopped shortly after we took these pictures and video because the road was about to collapse.
Sam took the videos below....Our neighbor/friend/my boss, Angie nicknamed him "Scuba Sam" b/c he was out in the pouring rain forever taking pictures and video. You really can't tell from the pics but it was an absolute pouring of rain. He was sopping wet when he got back in the car. I posted the videos on facebook and didn't realize Sam had commentated b/c my computer was muted.
T-town
Sam started taking some classes to work on his master's degree. One weekend a month he is in class all weekend, so we headed to Tuscaloosa.
Always have to have a big bubble bath at LaLa's. Mayson was so tired she was like a little zombie... a happy one though
GrandDad took Mayson to her first Alabama game. She had a good time. We made it to just before half-time. I really wanted her to see the half-time show but she was past the point at that time. She had been up since 5am that morning and was very close to a meltdown.
She was a bit overwhelmed at first w/ the 90, 000+ other people there yelling
