We met our friend Aaron and Tammy and went camping in South Carolina for Memorial Day weekend. We had a great time even though it rained about 60% of the time. We rented a boat but didn't get to use it as much as we had hoped because of the weather. We had fun anyway!

this tree had a huge vine wrapped all the way up to the top
I thought this picture was sweet
A resturant where we ate. I loved the name. It also had a huge train table inside for the kids to play on.

This is one of those things that is going to come back to bite me later, but since it was raining so much I told Mayson she needed to east some Sunchips to make the sun come out. Of course right after she ate some it quite raining. She thought it was because of her. When it would start raining she would say "We need sunchips"
One of my least favorite things about camping is the critters. Here are a few we saw. Mayson is holding a tiny frog, a big moth and beatle, and the one on the leaf....we are not sure what it is. It looked like an alien creature, a tiny snake like thing with one eye on top it also hissed at us.
Plus there were many more not picutred.
As you can see Mayson adored Tammy
Tammy and I got to take a boat ride to return the boat and enjoy a tiny bit of sun, of course the sun came out as we were having to take the boat back.

Trey cheering for Mayson as she tubed
I had to get a picture of this b/c Mayson slept til almost 10 this morning which is so unusual that Sam and I kept checking on her.

Jenna eating corn on the cob. Mayson was having trouble sharing the camera time.
Mayson was helping Sam cut a piece of wood. This just made me laugh.

this looks like fun! I am in awe of you guys taking them camping though - we didn't dare do it til the twins were at least 5!
