Easter weekend--Sunday

We spent the whole day Sunday at Amicalola Falls State Park in northern Georgia. It was such a beautiful day and a beautiful place. Sam and I had been a few years back with Rex, so I don't think we hiked to the top. There are lots of pictures but it is so pretty I had trouble choosing.

This is as far up as we went. I can't remember how many steps we went up, seems like there was 175 to the top from where we were. I think there were 604 total.

Mayson and Daddy's adventures...she is truly has adventurous spirit like her daddy
and also shares his love for being in nature. There is a video at the bottom of her walking across the fallen tree. Mama was a little nervous.

We built a fire and cooked hotdogs and roasted marshmellows before our hike, it was a little wierd doing that in the middle of the day but hey I'm game for smores anytime of day

Easter Weekend (Friday-Saturday)

We had a fun filled and busy Easter weekend. We went to church on Saturday for Easter Service and celebration.

Before church, we were running a little late so I didn't have a lot of time for photos, so these are the ones I got chasing them around the yard before we got in the car

Saturday morning we went to our friends Claudia and Kevin's church for an Easter Egg hunt. It was really nice, they had a dramatiztion and lunch afterwards. Mayson enjoyed the high school girls who sang and danced, she was copying them in the video below

Friday night our friends/neighbors had a few kids over for a Easter Egg hunt, Elaine even said "go to dinner and we'll watch the kids" we said hmmm...OK!! Looks like they had a good time

Well I know most of the pictures I post of Trey are of him eating, but he is always eating! One evening we were grilling out in the back yard, Sam gave Trey a bowl of mashed potatoes to eat. It was a total mess (I had to hose down the chairs and patio), but he was so happy. There is a video below

Mayson got a new comforter for her bed and we rearranged her room. She was very pleased with the outcome

Girls night out

I went over to Birmingham to go out with the girls for Melissa's birthday party. We had a great time laughing, dancing and reminiscing. Thanks LaLa for keeping the kids for me so I could go!
