Mayson turned 1 on Thanksgiving Day...she's a turkey alright. We had a family party Thanksgiving afternoon and some of her friends came over on Friday.
Mommy and Daddy always call me their Monkey, and then for some reason they dressed me up like one!! I'm not sure what's going on but they seem excited to show me off.
We went to north Georgia to a pumpkin patch, I had lots of fun walking around and looking at all the pumpkins, I got stuck between two. Some of them were bigger than me. They had all kinds of pumkins....little, big, orange, white....even green.
Mayson thought she would start pulling her weight (literally) and go to work, ha ha! Sam's breifcase for school is bigger than her! She also wants to help unload the dishwasher
Mayson and I flew up to Michigan so that Sam's family could see her. She had only met her grandparents (Nana and Poppie) and her Aunt Christina and cousin Nathaniel--she was only 3 weeks old the last time they saw her. She got to meet her Great-Grandma and Grandpa Reinbold, her Uncle Brad and many other family members and friends.
At the beginning of August we headed back to our house in Georgia. The moving truck was a big hit with Mayson and cousins Caeden and Lael. It is good to be home, although we had a lot of work, baby proofing and rearranging to do.
Mayson's Uncle Todd, Aunt Lisa, and cousins Chace, Caeden and Lael came to visit us. We had a great time even though it rained about 90% of the time they were there.
Mayson took "swim lessons" on base. We called them "splash lessons" because that's all they had us do, is spash around in the water. She really loves the water though.
